The Bronco Buster, crafted by Frederic Remington in the year 1895, represents his inaugural bronze sculpture. It has, over time, evolved into a symbol of the heroic and triumphant essence of the American West. The sculpture is a testament to Remington’s fastidious attention to detail, and his expert rendering of intense movement, deftly balanced. Since the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt, a casting of The Bronco Buster has been exhibited in The White House, a testament to its enduring cultural significance.The statue is made of 100% American bronze and features Remington’s signature on the base. It has a dark patina finish with hand-applied highlights for a natural look, and is hand-rubbed to bring out the details.
