The Rolex clock has a bold red background with stylized numerals 3, 6, 9, and 12. The other hour markers are simple white diamond shapes. The hands of the clock are of a contrasting golden color with a simple design, enhancing legibility against the red backdrop. The hour and minute hands are tapered, and filled with luminous material that would have allowed visibility in low light conditions.The clock has a vintage, domed crystal that covers the face and a bezel with a silver tone that contrasts with the red clock face. It was designed to showcase Rolex’s luxury and precision, and would have been used as a statement piece in their stores or as a promotional item.
