Multi Estate New Years Auction
Lot 9:
A 22K yellow gold Mughal-era pendant with a symmetrical and elaborate 22K gold framework decorated with filigree and beadwork. Moon, flower, and leaf motifs set with 7.5 carats of mine and rose-cut diamonds, 2.5 carats of cabochon-cut rubies, and 1.00 carat of cabochon-cut emeralds, and hung with ten (10) champagne-colored South Sea pearls with floral bead caps.
Stamped 916 on the back above the lowest centered cabochon ruby. Two other markings are nearby but are indiscernible.
