Pair of fine Vienna porcelain vases, both having a hand painted medallion after a painting by Sir John Everett Millais Bt PRA (1829-1896); one depicting ‘The Order of Release’ and the other ‘The Knight Errant’. Both having lustre ground with heavy gilt decor. The underside inscribed with title and artist and overglaze blue Bindenschild/shield mark. Approx. height 8.32 in.
