Hand-painted deep brown goatskin leather bomber jacket in near pristine condition. The jacket has lighter brown knit cuffs and jacket hem. The jacket has a zipper closure with a latch at the top, and snap closure under the collars. The zipper is in perfect condition, is functional and easy to zip. No noticeable stains or scratches to the exterior of the jacket. Two droplet size discolorations next to the inner tag, otherwise pristine. This jacket has been very well preserved. The inner label reads: "Cooper type A2. Size 34L. Manufactured exclusively by the Cooper Defense contract division supplier to the US Air Force. Cooper Sportswear MFG Co Inc." Made in the U.S.A.The jacket is hand painted wonderfully, with paint in excellent condition. Featured on the left front breast is a fighting crow. The back of the jacket is painted "Irene" in red lettering with yellow borders. A US Air Force FU-811 plane has been painted, two stars with yellow borders, and a tiger. A ribbon painted blue reads "Fourth but First." An inner tag reads "Do not wash or dry clean by fabric methods. Have cleaned by leather expert. Shell: 100% genuine goatskin leather. Lining: 50% polyester, 50% cotton."26 inch sleeves. 27 inch from collar to bottom hem. Shoulders across measures 19 inches flat. Bottom hem measures 14 inches flat.
