Lot 301:
Pair of Sevres Chateau St Cloud porcelain portrait plates decorated with Duc de Bourgogne(Duke of Burgundy) and Madame de Lamballe (Marie Therese Louise of Savoy). Hallmarked and titled on the back. Approx. diameter 9.5 in.
Condition: Plates are in very good condition. On both plates, there is minor wear to the gold enameling commensurate with age. On the plate with the portrait of the Duke, there is a flea bite to the rim as well as a possible repair to the back side – fluorescing under blacklight (see image 10). All items are sold as-is where-is. With all faults and errors. We are happy to assist with additional photographs, explanations, condition reports, or in person examinations on any piece.
