Pair, late 19th century Japanese Nippon Dow Sie Cot Ure vases, the porcelain burgundy ground with hand painted roses and moriage overlay. One vase marked underside with Shubei Kato Mark (1852-1903)Dow Sie Cot Ure N/P/S/K Nippon. Approx. height 10.25 inch and 10 inch. Note: NPSK is believed to stand for Nagoya Potteries Shippo Kaisha.

Condition: Examined under blacklight. Both vases with chips and losses to moriage. The 10 inch vase with prior repair/restoration around mouth. All items are sold as-is where-is.
