Cliff Lee (Taiwan/American, b.1951), porcelain glazed sculpture ‘Prickly Melon’. Signed and dated on base. Approx. height 5.25 in. Note: Cliff Lee applies each little spike on the stem of his ‘Prickly Melons’ with surgical tweezers, a process that typically takes three days. Back in 2003, Cliff suffered a stroke that left him partially paralyzed. While he has fully recovered, he has had to modify his work making these older vessels more valuable and scarce. NOTE: DUE TO THE SIZE, FRAGILITY AND/OR WEIGHT, THIS ITEM(S) WILL NEED TO BE PACKAGED AND SHIPPED VIA UPS. WE CAN NOT PROVIDE IN HOUSE PACKAGING/SHIPPING FOR THIS ITEM.
