Vintage art glass abstract vase signed and dated by the artist M. Rhys Williams, 1994. Approx. height 7.5 in., diameter 7 in. Note: Rhys Williams founded and operates the Cactus Glassworks and, through the concept of an outdoor glass studio, brings a unique and creative form of art to the public. Rhys has also pioneered the Crystal Eternity concept, an exciting innovation in memorialization which provides a beautiful and personal remembrance of a loved one. He has shown his art in many exhibitions including: Summer ’80 Glass, Blow, & Leaded Designs Recycled Gallery, Fullerton, CA; Portcon Exhibit, San Diego, CA; One Man show, South Coast Plaza Gallery, Orange, CA; Faculty Exhibit, Lang Gallery Scripps College, Claremont, CA; "Past Glass" One Man Retrospective, San Bernardino Valley College, San Bernardino, CA. His art can be found in many private collections as widespread as Osaka, Japan; Paris, France; the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India; and in a Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal. Rhys has been commissioned to create a number of commemorative awards.
