Richard Red Skelton (American, 1913 – 1997), ‘That’s My Point’, original pastel drawing on Royal Hawaiian linen. Signed and dated 1984 by the artist. Work is accompanied by COA with Replacement Value $27,500 – 32,500. COA provided by the only firm authorized by the Skelton Estate as the authority and experts in the field of Skelton artwork. Framed approx. 35 x 31 in., unframed 18 x 15 in. Note: Mr. Skelton was photographed holding this work of art at his studios in California and the photograph is attached verso. Provenance: From the personal collection of Red Skelton’s Opening Act, John Pate, who worked with Mr. Skelton for over six years and is still a close personal friend with Mrs. Lothian Skelton, Red’s widow.
