Important 18k white gold Chopard watch having the portrait of King Abdulaziz al Saud (33mm dial), founder of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The reverse a map of the kingdom highlighting various major cities accompanied in a silver presentation box from King Abdulaziz Al Saud, the cover with architecture and inscribed ‘Beit al Baghdadi, a classic example of Jeddah architecture’. Front of the box engraved SHIRLEY AND KEN/"YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED"/MANSOUR & JAWAHER ABDULAZIZ AL SAUD/1979. Stamped on the bottom D PINCHI ROMA. Approx. height 1.75", width 7.12", depth 4.75". Black leather Chopard watch band length approx. 8.75", weight 47.5 grams. Note: Chopard representatives confirmed that this watch was commissioned by the Saudi royal court a few decades ago. They are unwilling or unable to disclose how many were made.
