Sachsische Porzellanmanufaktur (Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Dresden) produced this beautiful porcelain macow parrot figurines sitting atop a leafy tree stump. This piece was strongly influenced by Kaendler’s animal figurines of the 18th century which were made for Meissen. Approx. height 7", overall width 5", base diameter 3".
