Group of 37 prints "American Presidential Portraits" after the original quill pen and ink works commissioned by The First Bankers in honor of the nation’s bicentennial and available on to depositors with the the bank. Each print is a approx. 20" x 16". Works are accompanied by the Broward Times newspaper with heading "Edmund Roy Spooner: And The Presidents Come Alive", Wednesday, February 26, 1975, Section B. Note: Spooner, a Brooklyn (N.Y.) born artist-historian, the commission and project represents more than two years of preparation, study and execution of the illustrations – many of which required separate and distinct styles from others.
