After Pierre Jules Mene "Horses" Bronze with brown patina. Inscribed on base "PJ Mene" Pierre Jules Mene (French, 1810-1879) was a sculptor and animalier. He is considered one of the pioneers of animal sculpture in the 19th century. Incised signature on the bronze and mounted on oval verde marble plinth base with inscribed plaque.
