Omas 1997 Return to the Motherland pen set. This set includes two writing instruments: a fountain pen and a rollerball pen. They were introduced in 1997 to commemorate Hong Kong’s reunification with China. The pens feature intricate engravings representing both Hong Kong and China. The caps display the Bauhinia flower, encircled by the words "Return to the Motherland, " enameled in red. The barrels showcase two sculpted Chinese dragons. They are both crafted from sterling silver. The fountain pen is equipped with an 18-karat gold nib, inlaid with a dragon head and engraved with "Hong Kong 1997." The sterling silver edition is limited to 1,997 pieces. It comes with a box and a booklet.
