Montegrappa Red Sea fountain pen. The Montegrappa Luxor Red Sea Fountain Pen is a writing instrument that pays homage to Ancient Egyptian art and mythology. The pen features a marbled red celluloid body complemented by vermeil (gold-plated sterling silver) overlays adorned with Egyptian motifs. The clip is designed in the shape of a cobra, symbolizing protection and royalty in Egyptian culture, and is often accented with pink sapphire-set eyes. The Luxor Red Sea was produced in a limited amount of 688 pieces. Equipped with an 18-karat gold nib. The pen is presented in a pyramid-shaped wooden box and it comes with a certificate of authenticity.
